3 months agonice little camping ground, just by the boulders trail, toilets and showers, non drinking water. gets very busy at night, so better be there early. there is an area where you can swim in the creek, but be careful, it can be very dangerous outside the designated area, very strong flowing water and slippery rocks. We were told that a cassowary comes regularly to pay a visit to the campground, but we only saw bush turkeys

2 weeks agoWe had a lovely stay for three nights, loving the swimming and local walks, I suggest you find a repellent to keep the marsh flies away. All in all had a great time. NO phone reception

a month agoWe were very unlucky and arrived at a time when March flies were out in force. We didn't know much about them but we sure do now......long story short we were driven out of there. If you arrive late and leave early you'll be okay as they're only out during the day. Men's shower has lost it's head so is merely a trickle, no cooking facilities. Great location.

a year agoSmall camp area with clean toilets/shower and picnic area a short walk from the Babinda Boulders which has a playground near the car park area. Be prepared to be woken up by a cheeky roaming rooster in the morning! No pets or open fires allowed.
