Carmila Beachfront Camp Grounds offers a range of sites from caravan access friendly to 4wd only sites. Many private sites with beach front views you can walk straight down onto the beach from. Only some sites have a public toilet, so come prepared. Also, no power supplied, ensure you are able to be off grid for the time you stay. You can stay for up to 14 nights straight at $14 a night, which makes this place a gem. The people at Isacc Regional Council are very friendly and easy to deal with. Only a phone call away to pay for your stay. The beach is dog friendly and with the huge tide range in this area make for fantastic walking with the huge sand flats. Everyone we encountered along our walks was very friendly. We had a great campfire at night within our site, although we do recommend taking timbers with you as not a lot of dead folage around. Looking forward to our next road trip, and this location will definitely be on the list to stay at for a few days.

Really need to be totally self sufficient, but location is great. Huge sea turtle meanders offshore (20-30m) when the tide turns to come in.

Highly recommend this hidden gem. The best little tucked away camp we've found, with the feel of bush camping. The tide is impressive and beach is a lot of fun for little ones when the tide is out. Payment was quick and easy over the phone
