3 months agoWhat a GREAT caravan park. We were in one of the newer cabins which was fresh, comfortable, and clean. The couple that greeted us were so warm, friendly and welcoming, we felt like family both on arrival and departure. We will definitely stay again

5 months agoBig park with lovely grounds. Easy to manoeuvre with van. Sites are level and good size and have concrete slabs. Large amenities block kept very clean. Great camp kitchen. They also have a private function area for get-together, which is a great idea. Didn't use the cabins or van ensuites but they look very well maintained from the outside, some look quite new. They have a communal vegetable patch where you can help yourself It's a few streets away from the main shopping centre but you still could walk there. Don't forget to visit the old railway station

3 weeks agoWe had a grass site for a swag & ute awning, booked through Hipcamp, who you pay on booking. Arrived, checked in... and the gruff fella with the torn off sleeves charged me again. At check out I went and informed him that I had paid HC prior ho him charging me. He said he didn't know that, and tht he'd contact them on Monday (the following day) and come back to me. I explained I'd be happy with a credit, as I liked the park and planned to return. 2 weeks go by, nothing. I contact HC, they chase it up. A week of silence and I contact HC who inform me that he said he was going to contact me. They reach out to him n tell me to let them know he if doesn't make contact in 48 hrs... he doesn't, so they refund me. Imagine screwing around a customer who tells you they'll be back.

3 weeks agoI have to say the toilets and laundry room were the cleanest I have ever seen in a caravan park. Lovely park. Nice walk into town.

6 months agoWe had a short stay at Young Tourist Park. Powered site are level making it easy to park the van. This park is very pretty and well maintained. The amenities are in the centre of the park making them quicly accessible to all. The camp kitchen is enclosed which is nice on the colder or rainy days. The hosts were lovely and we had a great chat. Look forward to going back in Cherry season
