4 months agoWe enjoyed our stay. Smaller park, with most sites drive through. Very clean amenities and good laundry facilities. We had a week of rain when we visited and the park was NOT a muddy bog hole, drained quite well. We enjoyed exploring the local area with lots to explore, waterfalls, beaches, fishing, swimming holes, we enjoyed the Rock Slides just past big crystal creek. At the park, as others mentioned, there is a train line, but only a single train each night at around 10pm that we hardly noticed. We would absolutely stay again

a month agoIt's a small, friendly, and very quiet campsite, with fields and cows at the back to enhance the nature experience! The price is reasonable, the showers are clean and spacious, and it’s located right next to the main road. There is also a small pool and a kitchen area. In summary, we had a good one-night stay at this campsite to rest. I recommend it !

4 months agoWe were looking for an overnight stay to continue the journey north tomorrow. From the outside this park looked nothing special. How wrong were we. The kitchen, toilets and showers were hospital hygienic and recently refurbished. The grounds were well maintained in an obviously low maintenance design. All sites were drive through and well maintained. No Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good spot to visit the many sites within the surrounding area. Great as a clean transit camp.

2 months agoMy partner and I booked a two-day stay, but due to an emergency, we had to leave first thing in the morning after just one day. I left a voice message at 8 AM since there was no one available to speak to until 11 AM (which is shocking, as this is well after check-out time). After receiving no response, my partner called and spoke to someone named Chloe. Before he could even explain that we had to leave due to an emergency, Chloe cut him off with a snarky and dismissive attitude, immediately stating, “We don’t give refunds.” She showed no understanding or willingness to listen, cutting him off every time he tried to speak. Her complete lack of customer service or respect was astonishing, and then she rudely hung up on him. I then tried to call and speak with Chloe myself. I explained that she had just spoken to my partner and attempted to explain our emergency situation. Her first response was to blame my partner, claiming he was rude, which she used to justify her own bratty, unprofessional attitude. Again, she cut me off and bluntly said, “No refund,” with zero empathy or consideration. When I asked if there was any way to contact the owner to discuss the situation further, Chloe’s response was even more arrogant: “Umm, my dad is the owner, and he won’t talk to you about this. This is my final say,” and once again hung up on me mid-conversation. This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable. It is one thing to have a strict refund policy, but to refuse to even consider an emergency situation and show such blatant disrespect is disgraceful. Chloe’s bratty, arrogant, and entitled attitude shows she has no sense of basic customer service. It is clear they feel entitled to steal our money without any regard for the circumstances. We are not only distressed from having to leave due to an emergency but are now forced to contact our bank to dispute this charge, as they are clearly unwilling to return the money they took from us. This is outright theft. We will never return, and we will make sure to inform our community about this appalling behaviour, ensuring they are fully aware of how this place operates, led by the unprofessional, arrogant actions of Chloe.
