a month agoI was just passing by, stayed over for the hot spring, so it was only one night. The place was extremely suitable for families, especially large ones. Plenty of room for everyone to roam around. Fully kitted out kitchen, can cook easily or use their community kitchen and BBQ facilities. There's a game room as well. A few minutes walk to Deep Blue hot spring, terrific location if you're into it. Right next to the beach too, but quite some distance to town centre, so will need to drive to get to any shop or supermarkets.

a month agoStayed for a couple of nights. Well located across from the beach. Smallish park but facilities etc were fine. Staff very helpful. On a bus route that gets you into the city in under 10 minutes or could you be walked in 20. Close to Flagstaff Hill.

a month agoGoogle shows this park being on the western and eastern side of Petrobe Rd. I picked it for the kids thinking we'd have the adventure playground on one side and the beach on the other. This park is only on the eastern side and shipwreck holiday park is on the west. Further that southern part of shipwreck is only open at peak times. This park is tiny with the tightest sites I've seen. Other guests were complaining about the difficulty they had getting in. The friendly bloke at reception offered to park it. Should have taken him up on his offer. The only access is through the front gate on Petrobe road. It doesn't make the park poorly located but if you're right at the back it's annoying having to walk back to the road to get anywhere. A pedestrian gate at the rear would sort this. There were also multiple nights you could hear people doing burnouts. For some reason all the toilets are locked with a combo code which successfully irritates every guest that wants to use the toilet. The chance of an outside visitor using the facilities surely doesn't outweigh the enjoyment of the paying guests. The toilets were all clean and modern. Overall its a well kept park with friendly staff. There's a high turnover with most people only staying all night. It's a drive into town but a walk to the beach, playground and foreshore.

a month agoGreat service. Great location. We've stayed now with caravan and utilising a cabin. The grounds could do with a little TLC (trimming some plants and mowing the grass) but other than that it's a great park that is conveniently located

3 months agoA clean and neat cabin. Had all the necessary utensils in the kitchenette. Walking distance to the Deep Blue Hot springs. Bed was comfortable and cabin was warm. Highly recommend!!!
