3 months agoBeautiful place to stay, could not fault it. I got the superior room cabin with the lake view and it’s just spectacular. My kids enjoyed the playground! So much to do including games room and pool (unfortunately couldn’t use the pool) due to the weather this time of year. Asked for an earlier check in and the lady at the front desk was so lovely and was happy to let us check in at 1pm. When we arrived the room heater was on and everything was lovely and clean, bed is super comfy! Thankyou very much for everything we will be back!

3 months agoWe took our Caravan here. Location is by the water. Although we have a large van they were very accommodating in finding a suitable sight. Some sights have their own ensuite next to where you camp. Facilities were clean. But be aware that the shower tends to spray water through the shower cubical there is not door for the actual shower. Make sure all your belongs are up. Staff are wonderful, helpful. Not far from the main town.

a week ago2 night pre booked ensuite site (% off special). We chose this park based on location thinking lakeside would be nicer than in town. We were there Sunday/Monday. The park is a labyrinth of narrow roads with nasty speed bumps regardless of how slow you crawl over them. We were on ensuite 8, part of a row of sites on the small side with a separate ensuite on each. There are no clear site markings, just a number on the ensuite. This creates an issue when the neighbours park on the next site. It is also within about 100 mtrs from the jumping pillow and playground, fine if you have/love screaming kids. It went none stop until late.7pm+ whatever time they let the air out and it really ruined Sunday. The site gives you bush and limited lake views from the rear so it could have been nice to sit out there. Monday however was much quieter. I will know better next booking to ask to be nowhere near similar. The ensuites need attention, external rotting timbers from the gutter water flow and internal flooring held together with gaffa tape where it is lifting and plastic and tape over the middle. Hole in the plaster and cobwebs complete with spider on the signage on the inside of the door. The positive is glass enclosed shower, good hot water pressure and foot/hand towels supplied. Road noise from the main road is heard from this site. I believe there needs to be more checks and work to maintain a decent standard, using tape and plastic bags to repair flooring is a disgrace. The booking system could be improved by not allocating couples in family orientated areas.

We have 4 kids and a big van which was well acccommadated we had an awesome spot with amazing views of the weir! The staff were very friendly and amenities were very clean. This van park is amazing for families as it has a playground and jumping pillow! Definitely recommend 👌
