3 weeks agoStayed overnight in a 2-bedroom standard cabin and we will stay longer next time! Very clean, beds are comfy, cabin has plenty of space for 4x people. Kitchen has everything we needed. Our teens enjoyed the indoor pool. Close to Eastern beach and town centre.

a month agoGreat location. Easy access to supermarkets etc and super easy to get everywhere within the city. We love utilising the cabins for a quick overnight stay but also love bringing the caravan down and using the sites. It's a great caravan park for all round. Always friendly and welcoming.

2 months agoIf you're after great accommodation close to the Spirit, you can't go wrong here. The 2 bedroom cabins are great value for money. I didn't notice the 6pm check in time when booking. As soon as I got reception, I called and was told of the after hours check in. Extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

2 months agoGreat place to stay when visiting Geelong. The park is located right on the Barwon River which is a lovely place to walk or cycle along. The cabin was clean and comfortable - the beds are soft and super comfy. The only drawback was the wind! Something on the roof was rattling non stop so there were some sleepless nights.

4 weeks agoDear discovery Park Geelong. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the state of the accommodation we booked for our recent stay. Upon our arrival, we encountered numerous issues that made our experience unpleasant and far below our expectations, especially given the price we paid. From the moment we arrived at check-in, the experience was unwelcoming. The office staff member immediately began lecturing us about how your property typically does not accommodate hens parties and warned us that we would be evicted without warning if we made too much noise due to kids staying over night for a gymnastics competition, feeling like even though I paid a premium that my group wasn't wanted. This approach was neither professional nor hospitable, leaving us feeling uncomfortable right from the start. We as a group were aware to be respectful of other people staying there, we were mindful to not be loud as this was a planned weekend away to relax, have a few drinks and go out. To add to this, the accommodation itself was in a deplorable state. None of the beds were made upon arrival—only sheets left on top of the mattresses. Upon inspecting the mattresses, we found that many were dirty and covered in dust. The general cleanliness of the entire space was severely lacking, with many areas visibly dirty. Additionally, there was no spare bedding available, such as extra blankets, which added to our discomfort during the stay. Furthermore, the TV in the master bedroom did not work, which further detracted from our experience and added to our dissatisfaction. Given the unacceptable conditions, we considered finding alternative accommodation. However, as Geelong was fully booked, arranging last-minute accommodation was not an option. This left us with no choice but to stay in a space that did not meet basic cleanliness and comfort standards. We paid $808 for 2 nights at the cabin for what we believed would be a clean, comfortable stay, but the conditions were far below any reasonable standard. Given the state of the accommodation, we feel that this was not at all worth the price and that we were overcharged for a very poor experience. I will be speaking with booking.com to request a partial refund for the inconvenience and discomfort caused by the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and non-functional amenities. We believe this is a fair resolution considering the issues we faced.
