a month agoGreat location Accommodation not so great. My eldest didn't want to sleep in the bedroom. The Accommodation smelt and was not very clean. The wifi ..there was none.. I booked it for the kitchen and wifi but this did not work. There was hardly any reception. That needs to be taken off the website. The kids room was tiny. We were right at front and the constant traffic of cars meant we needed to keep the blinds down and windows closed. Not sure we were compensated. The location is perfect..near the river. Great walks. I paid $330 per night. I would have liked two of what everyone else got.

5 months agoWe camped on a power site for 4 nights we were given a grass sight next to the new camp kitchen when there was sun shine the building kept us in the shade might be good in summer not fun in winter. It was lovely using the new amenities to go in and the heater was running very nice. The camp kitchen is wonderful with two Hugh ovens. Tried the heated pool to cold for us but it was June should not expect to much

a month agoWell no hot water in main shower block for a week, terrible WiFi on Telstra, and when a group of us planned for a games night of billiards and table tennis the room was shut down at 8.00 on a Friday night, even in daylight saving. Not sure why they are opposed to people having fun on a holiday? Anyway overall lay out of park was great and amenities such as camp kitchen was well provided. Just need a little more attention to detail

a month agoWe booked our cabin 9 months in advance of our trip with 2 nights in Echuca. We advised the park in our booking that we would be arriving late as we were driving from north of Sydney. The cabin we were given was right at the boom gate which was the worst cabin location in the park! Looking around the next day there were numerous empty similar cabins in much better locations. On entering the cabin it did not smell at all pleasant. We then faced having to make the children’s beds, when you pay for accommodation they should be made especially when you advise you will be late. We then found the mattress protectors to be absolutely filthy and urine stained so we took them off and made beds. At this location there is flood lighting and the poor fitting blinds do not block this out. Cleaning of cabin was not thorough with MM’s along edge of floor. The sofa was also rather grotty needing a deep clean. The cabin itself has not been maintained well with a wall and door patched very unprofessionally. We were also woken both nights by hooning young people we were surprised on-site staff did not hear. I have emailed both park and Discovery days ago with no acknowledgment received. We will not renew our Discovery membership. Also the parks wifi was absolutely useless not good when Telstra rececption is patchy.
