in the last weekOur ‘dust bowl’ site 92 was a metre from a new construction site of small cabins. That was somewhat tolerable until some worker starts up a saw at 645 am. 🥴 Me not usually one to complain let it go thinking he’s just not thinking! Next morning at 740 am a massive truck arrives and proceeds to drop topsoil 20 metres from the back of our van. Noisy enough but the dust etc went everywhere. We were booked in for another night but packed up and moved on. On departure we let the office know and ‘Harry’ boy wonder in the office was not sympathetic at all. He turned it around to put the problem on us. Why didn’t you complain ? Here’s the number to call ! At 645 am what were they going to do ! Why were we placed near a construction site for 4 nights when the park wasn’t full? We never asked for a refund and of course he never offered. He bordered on being an arrogant 30 yr old with a bad attitude with zero sympathy. Barossa was beautiful as was the small town of Tanunda but never again to the Discovery Park

3 months agoWe stayed lastnight in 1 of the pet friendly 4 person cabins and it was lovely. Extremely clean and the park is beautiful. The pool, water park and playground areas look like so much fun. Pity we couldn't stay longer. We will be definitely booking another trip for a few nights soon. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

2 months agoVery impressed by the park and facilities. We stayed in a safari tent while visiting for the weekend. Clean, well maintained. Also loved the fact the safari tent area was adult only which also had its own pool, jacuzzi, covered kitchen/BBQ area and fire pit. The park has all the boxes ticked with great facilities for both families and couples. Grounds and public areas were all clean and maintained. The park team were helpful, polite and friendly. Site was quite after dark. Only a 10 minute walk in to Tanunda via a secure back gate. A credit to the discovery park brand! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5 months agoGreat staff, great location, plenty of cafe's, eateries, pubs and wineries nearby. Also, great little gift shops to look in and buy locally made gifts, jams and sauces. The chocolate factory has sooo much to choose from!! Great local op shops too The cabins are fantastic. Very clean, with everything you want/need, the showers to die for!! Very reasonably priced as well. We had a pet friendly cabin, there's plenty of space to take the dogs for a walk. A very quiet location too. All in all, a great time was had, can't wait to come back!!

in the last weekLovely park, we were in the unpowered section. Which was a nice green area near amenities. Lots of sun & shade. Great showers.
