a month agoBenefits from really being the only place in town if you're staying in this area for a few days. Easy to locate. Staff on arrival seemed disinterested in more than doing the basics. Found this attitude generally throughout the campgrounds. Amenities are adequate, but they need an overhaul. Caravan sites are average size with some on red dirt and sloped. There are a number of restaurants and eateries nearby. Keep in mind the NT alcohol rules and expect to pay a premium for food and drink. Views of the rock can be found at the lookouts. There is a small industrial centre a few kms away, including mechanic and a drop point.

4 months agoReally friendly staff and the services were great. Nice hot showers, clean toilets and well maintained. Some people complained about how close the camp sites are but really if you prefer your own camp site please bush camp somewhere before the town lol. Thank you very much for a great accommodation and highly recommend the camp site.

a month agoVery disappointing stayed for 3 nights toilets and showers not cleaned in that time, only emptied the bins . Toilets Very dirty and showers not cleaned at all . They provided a bucket to wash out showers, but this hadn't been cleaned either Very smelly. ☹️ Thanks for the response but we were staying un the camp ground. And the toilet stain is understandable but fesses on the seat and in the bowls that stayed there for the 3 days suggests to me that they were not cleaned and the showers were not cleaned even though the boxes on the cleaning sheets had been ticked .Maybe when I spoke to the staff at reception they could of checked

2 months agoAwful campground with inadequate facilities for number of people., particularly as there are coach loads of teenagers in tents. Always queues for showers and even wash basins. Facilities are poorly maintained with broken taps and dirty, with dozens of cockroaches in basins, showers and even the bbq. A few Gas bbq though not all working. Very few washing up sinks. Staff were very helpful and friendly Overall very disappointed particularly given the high price! Resort centre is pleasant with a very good supermarket, a couple of decent shops and excellent meals at Geckos Cafe.

3 months agoThe park is great, but the toilet/shower facilities could use some work. This didn't impact my review, but caravan parks really need to consider having smoking zones or smoking/non-smoking sites. We were camped for several days beside very heavy smokers, which made it impossible to sit outside our van, or open the windows.
