Discovery Parks Robe

Nice clean facilities. Great spacious playground with a bouncy pillow. Friendly staff that occasionally sweep the area. The pool is a decent size but pretty slippery. Its a nice location as well as it’s next to a beach. I recommend this place if you want a nice play to stay at Robe.

Overall a decent park but not the same standard of a lot of the other Discovery Parks we have stayed at. Good location, with the beach across the road. The powered sites are grassy but extremely small, our van isn't overly large but it was still a tight fit. Noticed a lot of others struggled to fit as well. The bathrooms are ok with plenty of showers and toilets but could do with a facelift. Fantastic playground and lots of grass for games. Good roads for bikes and scooters. Unfortunately the let down for us was the staff and the state of the pool. Upon check in we were given no extra information on the happenings in the park (only found out about the pancake breakfast after the fact) or the local area, which we are used to. One of the groundsmen was extremely rude on multiple occasions, yelling at kids and adults alike. The pool really needs a good clean, although they appear to keep up with the chemical care and checking it regularly, there were lots of bits floating in the water and it was very murky. The kids refused to go back in after the first time. With a bit of extra care this could be a great park. Unfortunately for us, it doesn't meet the usual Discovery Parks standards.

Pre booked, 2 night ensuite site as discovery parks had a % off sale which made it excellent value. 2 adults. Corner site was spacious, ensuite clean and relatively modern. Not so good was the very loud auto exhaust fan and a very bright night light on the access veranda. The park has great lawn areas for many sites, grounds are well kept, basic amenities including laundry, only 2 machines and 1 dryer plus hills hoist. Park is walking distance to the beach and a huge playground/ bbq area across the road. Easy drive into town which offers plenty of choice for dining, take away, seafood and groceries. The coastline is spectacular, lighthouse and old Obelisk, jetty and walking trails are a must. Staff are lovely and it’s a great place to stay if you are travelling in the area.

This caravan park is in a great location on the edge of Robe. We were there with friends from our caravan group. Unfortunately the biggest problem we had was the weather. It was appalling. The park has plenty to keep visitors occupied including a fairly large indoor heated pool and a medium sized well presented Camp kitchen and decent kids play ground.

Amazing location across from the beach, nice clean cabins with all the necessities, good playground with jumping pillow, amenities were all kept very clean and our favourite part was the indoor heated pool with a deep side and a shallow side perfect for my 2 year old to have the time of her life in. Staff were lovely also, cannot fault and will stay here again!
