3 weeks agoWe stayed in the 2 bedroom sunrise cabin overlooking the beach and it was beautiful. Very comfortable and clean. Ambiance was very relaxing and the neighbours were quiet and pleasant to be around. Other than the beach there was also a giant bounce pillow, an undercover outdoor bbq area and toilets.

3 months agoBeautiful spot right on the beach. Nice, quiet town. Stayed in 2 bedroom cabin. On the surface, it looked clean at first glance. I was once a cleaner of cabins, and I couldn't help but notice every little dirty detail. Shower had hair in it, door and framing needed a good scrub. Basin taps as well. And as for the main bed...pillows need to have protectants on them as we could smell the previous occupants and mattress protector also smelt of previous occupants, so it hadnt been replaced with crisp clean one. Which is off putting and we didn't really like sleeping with strangers. But the sheets and towels were clean. Had to scrub inside of kettle to use it, had white film in it. Kitchen draws had crumbs and dirt in them. Sorry but cleaning standards need to be up to be higher if you want us coming back. Other then the above, we enjoyed our stay in Kingston SE.

a month agoWhat a lovely spot for a Caravan Park, right on the foreshore. Lawned powered sites. Pet friendly and quiet. Our second time staying at Kingston and it won't be the last. You can walk along the foreshore to the local shops and bakery. A lovely peaceful town with plenty of lawned picnic areas. Great place to relax and unwind.

5 months agoWhile the reception area was clean and tidy, the shower and toilets left much to desired. The showers were covered in mould and slime, and the water pressure was so weak that it made showering a challenge. Additionally, the lights in the facilities would often shut off without warning leaving us feeling furious and disappointed with our experience here.

7 months agoGreat place to stay. The owners are friendly and helpful, the site is just across the road from the water which makes for some spectacular sunsets. They have Showers and Laundry, I stayed at a powered Van site. Facilities are a little dated but functional and clean, the yard is maintained. 20min walk to town where there is a pub and supermarkets. During the off season they may give you the site behind as a drive through, this is a nice convenience.
