a month agoGreat location, great staff very accommodating. We arrived a day early with the hopes of extending our stay as my husband was unwell and we are backpacking. They were so accommodating and got us in. We really do appreciate it. The cabins are clean and well maintained as is the park and facilities.
dear friend,
2 weeks agoPerfect for the four travelers! Just a 15-minute drive to the city, and the shared shower area was nice too. We could make simple breakfast in the cabin. Very economical. Highly recommened.

2 months agoWhat a little gem in Cairns. A little way out of town so need to drive (or catch an Uber around $14.00) to get into town, but close to local shopping centre and the usual take aways and a reasonable hotel across the highway. Traffic noise is not an issue. Facilities include a well equipped camp kitchen and two shower blocks and laundries which are clean and very functional and never busy during our stay. Laundry loads cost $5.00. Coin operated. The managers are very helpful and friendly. Swimming Pool is lovely. Have been privileged to be on a site near nesting Curlews and so interesting to see the behaviour of these birds on a daily basis. No pets allowed which maybe a problem for some so reduced my rating from 5 to 4 for this reason. Would otherwise recommend a stay here if considering a stop over in Cairns.

2 months agoHad two stays over about a week recently due to travel arrangements Some sites are a bit tight and rain didn't help in others. We had no problems. Facilities were fine and service at reception was great. Easy to get into the city by bus if you want to leave the van in place. Animals not allowed so check if you are thinking of staying.

2 months agoWe have stayed here 3 times in three months. That should say something. It's a little bit pricey, but we are happy to pay. Deep sites. Good camp kitchen and amenities. Across the road from Dan Murphy's.
