This was our first time staying and we loved it!! The powered sites were nicely spaced and it wasn't packed considering it was school holidays. The grounds are well kept and have such a tropical feel. It's a skip to the beach, there is a stunning lagoon style pool for everyone to enjoy with a fun slide too! There are karts for the kids to ride, an outdoor cinema with kids movies, and a cafe available on certain evenings. The amenities were lovely and clean. We'll definitely be recommending this spot to friends and family, and will be back!

Perfect, beautiful and very large camping spot right on the beach. Toilets were a little far away, especially at night. Very accommodating staff! Great afternoon at the bar listening to some good old fashioned rock and roll with maybe a cocktail 🍸 or 2. A little more than 30 mins up the road....a very nice get away indeed!

First time staying in this park and absolutely loved it. Beautiful views, grassed sites, clean amenities. So much for kids to do even though we haven't got kids. Catch and release barra fishing in the 3 big ponds, fish feeding 3.30 every day. Will definitely be back.

What a lovely weekend, Away! We had a 2 bedroom beachfront cabin which had amazing views. The only downside is that there was no AC in the 2nd room, and it became a little warm during the night. However, this park was an awesome place for a family holiday. We went as part of a group of bookings and spent the weekend away from townsville. Saturday night, there is live entertainment by the cafe and woodfired pizzas on order. We enjoyed the cocktails by the bar, and the kids enjoyed pizza and an open-air movie by the lake. Fish feeding was an eye-opener. You really get to see what is swimming around in the lake once the feed is thrown in, and the kids got a chance to throw in some feed too. We had a fish around the lake and caught a few barra and some eels. It is catch and release in the lake, so don't forget to pack some barbless hooks in your tackle box. As it was a weekend, the park was busy with families enjoying the pool, parks and lake. By Monday, the park was almost empty and we enjoyed having the pool to ourselves for a few hours. Wi-fi was a bit hit and miss but we weren't there for the internet service and the kids were definitely not worried about it which is a huge win. We will definitely come back for a visit and will bring the doggo for a holiday too as it is a pet friendly park. I absolutely recommend this park for all travellers and locals.

Had stayed here before and always was good. Stayed a week ago for a night and absolutely poured, can't help that, but we headed to Cairns for 4 days, then came back to here for Saturday & Sunday thinking it was the same price. NO, another $14 per night more. But also a lot more kids and dogs. The problem is the were kids roaming the park to near midnight, the mothers were far too loud also for that time of the night. The park needs to enforce their own rules. 5 vans around these people left the park early this morning. Recommend mid week.
