3 weeks agoWe had a great stay, we were lucky to get a pet friendly cabin cheaper by phoning instead of going through a booking site. Cabin was super clean and had everything we needed (a dog water bowl would have been perfect!) Great amenities, super close to the highway but not loud. We would love to come back!

3 weeks agoto be avoided absolutely if you are backpackers. racist staff towards foreigners and make you pay more than normal and than the price displayed on the internet. the staff does not know how to say hello or goodbye (which is the basis of courtesy) and even less knows how to smile. If you need information at the reception, good luck because there is never anyone present and we had to wait more than 15 minutes each time we went there. travelers are kept apart from others in the campsite. cleaning is very rarely done on this side of the campsite. we stayed 1 month in this campsite before leaving because to top it all off, the owner accuses us of lying about the fact that we had not paid the reservation (while we did it on time each time and at a higher price than normal, $212 instead of $175) while we had detailed proof of the payments made to the bank account. I strongly advise against this campsite but instead choose the campsite opposite which is much cheaper with super friendly, smiling and welcoming staff (everything you expect from a campsite)

3 weeks agoPretty dry and dusty but it did the job for an overnight stay. It did have a good size fenced dog off-leash area which I have not seen before in a caravan park. Would stay again.

a month agoCabin was immaculate and modern. Staff were amazing and I felt very welcome to have my poodle with me. I was concerned about being on the Bruce Highway, but it was very quiet all night. Will definitely be back.

a month agoGreat value $25 for concrete slab unpowered. Best one in bowen. Nice quiet campsite, wouldn't recommend the unpowered grass area, backpackers take over it. Amenities were good, little bit old had nowhere to put cloths or anything apart from on the floor...in need of an upgrade i think. But still good. Definatly will be back
