a month agoThe cabin provided was not fit for humans. We couldnot stay in it as the cabin bed was dodgy and unstable. It was highlighted to the staff. Further, The bunk bed was full of ants and there were dead bugs all over the cabin. Property Manager accompanied us and I showed her all the bugs, mosquitos and ants. She came with a mortien spray to kill them all.The cabin was never occupied and keys were returned as the place was unfit for humans. The double bed was unstable, the bunk beds were full of ants and no on can sleep in those cramped spaces. Property Manager suggested to reach out to booking.com for refund as this was booked through them. She also mentioned if it was directly booked she could have processed it as we were not staying. I know its all in properties hand but they are playing smart and not returning our hard earned money and left us without accomodation on our holiday. It is like charging fee for no service. They claim themselves as a 4 star property but didnot had the blanket for the mattress in the cabin (Basics were missing), I wish google review had an option of a ZERO star Never ever book this property if you really want to enjoy beautiful Bright.

4 months agoVery cosy and modern camp kitchen/ dining area with amazing looking pool (too cold for us to utilise during our stay). The bbq was pretty average (turned off quickly and then didn’t start back up properly again) but very happy with the kitchen having kettles, toasters and lots of heaters and space. Communal toilets/showers are very squishy and feel a bit uninviting. Quite clean though. Also there is a family room with a full size bath for the kids. Pretty close to snow peaks and fairly quiet except for some cars going past. Bright is quite a nice town to stay in. We didn’t stay in any of the cabins but they have quite a few that look super fancy and modern. We did however have ensuite sites and they were pretty average. Needing a bit of an update with slightly more room in the shower to accommodate larger individuals. Toilet also seemed to block easily, needing to be flushed both before and after use. Did love the heat lights for extra warmth. The sites got very washed out and muddy when it rained and the ground went very slushy. The photo advertisements for this park are very misleading as some photos aren’t even of the park, they are of the river in the main part of town (picture of river).

4 months agoNo problems for the particular house that we got. Nice that there's a decorative led fireplace and there were a number of heating options which really helps when you're checking in during winter. Nice location to stay in going to Mt. Hotham. Overall a good experience.
