in the last week3 night pre booked by telephone stay, powered site, 2 adults. Arrived Sunday after office closed at 12 noon, site details left at reception key box so super easy site location and subsequent set up. Generous site sizes with small slab for van wheels to be positioned on and normal slab for awning etc. room for car next to the slab. Refurbished amenities, clean and functional, lovely gardens and lots of lawn. Laundry had baskets and trolleys which was great, cost of a wash was $6 which is expensive. Close to town, river just across the road. Lots of birdlife in the park , road noise but not as bad as anticipated. A pathway between the front row and middle row sites through to the amenities would be helpful. As is , you either walk around the roadways or through other guests sites with the latter being poor form.

2 months agoTheir facilities were not working and didn't tell us until we had already paid and refused a refund or discount.. shop/ office has stuff all stock and quite pricey My mum and son got called a fukwit by a worker here for doing some recycling ♻️ Lady at thr office is a lovely lady tho Have bikes and kayaks to hire for 10$ an hour.. Overall this is somewhere to pit stop if u had too probably wouldn't come back willingly. Very boring area especially if u have children Given thr hype online about this place especially school holiday activities and lots to do here can say it's very underwhelming..

3 weeks agoUnpowered van sites are the best, peaceful, great birdlife, bordering on bushland. WiFi great showers + pool with spa. We will return for sure.

9 months agoWe had a great experience here, we arrived after the reception had closed for the day but were welcomed in, no problem at all. We could view the water passage from our campsite and the road between us and the water was relatively quiet. The camp kitchen was extremely clean and well equipped. The toilets and shower blocks were also extremely clean and well maintained. The pool is great for the kids and again, very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend, we will definitely return (for more than 1 night next time!)
